I am Ndeamoh Mansaray, a native of Sierra Leone and from the Limba decent. My names especially the first are typical Limba names which I inherited from one of my grand mothers. Being the first child of four, I was born at Teko Barracks in Makeni, in the north of the country. I did both my Primary and Secondary schooling in two schools at a Military Barracks called Juba in the west end of Freetown where I grew up. This was because my father was a soldier. Upon completion of my Senior Secondary School, I taught for two school years at a preparatory school at Goderich in the Peninsular. I later gained admission into the Milton Margai College of Education and Technology Goderich Campus, where I gained a diploma in International Relations after a two-year course. While on internship at the Sierra Leone News Agency, I became interested in the field of journalism. I worked there for two years before I finally got this beautiful job with Foundation Hirondelle’s Cotton Tree News. Here at CTN, I work as a reporter, reporting on court proceedings, which I am very much interested in doing. I am also one of the casts of a drama title Mammy and Omo. I enjoy being a Journalist, though it is challenging. |
