Brima Davies joined CTN from UN Radio in Sierra Leone where he worked as a technician for three years. He has a long standing interest in information systems and has a wealth of experience in web development. Brima is hoping to be able to take what he has learned at CTN to concentrate on web development and networking. The greatest challenge in managing the web site is transforming the news into a web format and keeping the site up to date with breaking news and current audio files. Freetown is also plagued by a slow internet connection which makes uploading files and sending the files for shortwave difficult at times. Brima lives in Central Freetown, is an avid Arsenal fan, and he enjoys hip hop music and African food.
