President Ernest Bai Koroma completed a four-day tour of the Southern Region.
President Koroma visited Bo, Pujehun, Mattru Jong and Moyamba, where he addressed large crowds of people who turned out to welcome him and his entourage. At the Coronation Field in Bo, President Koroma spoke about his government’s agenda for change.He pointed out that energy; agriculture and infrastructural development were his government’s priorities.He urged the people to be law abiding and particularly called on both the APC and SLPP to adhere to the joint communiqué they signed recently. The representatives from the PMDC and SLPP committed themselves to working with President Koroma to develop the country.The Resident Minister, South, Musa Tarawallie emphasized the need for political tolerance in the country.
