The Sierra Leone Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SLIEPA) has launched a website in a bid to improve investment and facilitate export in the country. The website outlines key information that will enable both domestic and international companies to better do business in Sierra Leone. SLIEPA Chief Executive Officer, Patrick Caulker said the website would accurately inform investors and exporters about the many opportunities available in Sierra Leone. He said the wealth of information provided would make it easier for those wishing to establish or expand their business operations in the country. He said in addition to providing background information about Sierra Leone, economic data, up-to-date laws and regulations, there is a section  dedicated towards the various investors and exporter needs. The Sierra Leone Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SLIEPA) is the country’s official agency to assist and inform investors and exporters. SLIEPA was established by an act of parliament in 2007 and became operational in May 2008 as the agency responsible for promoting foreign direct investments and exports from Sierra Leone.
