Fondation Hirondelle has announced the appointment of a new Country Representative for its operations in Sierra Leone.
The Swiss media capacity building organisation which is running the Cotton Tree News in partnership with Fourah Bay College has hired Samuel Kinge Namanga as its new Country Representative. Mr. Namanga succeeds Anne Bennett who is taking up appointment in the Sudan, as Country Representative for Fondation Hirondelle. The outgoing Country Representative, Ann Bennett who has served CTN since its inception two and a half years ago, hopes that her successor would build on the achievements of the CTN team. Samuel Kinge Namanga, the new man at the helm of CTN affairs is an experienced administrator with significant project management experience. Most recently, he worked as the Country Representative for the International Foundation for Education and Self-Help in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He has also worked in various capacities in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Liberia and Niger. In 1993, he worked in Sierra Leone as Regional Relief Coordinator for Africare.
