Cotton Tree News Sport wins Media House of the Season |

Cotton Tree News (CTN) Sport has been awarded the Media House of the season, during the Sierra Leone Premier League Board’s Award.
The award was received on behalf of CTN Sports, by CTN’s Salim Sahid Kamara.Awards for the best referee of the season went to Alhaji Rashid Sanusie, while Sports journalist of the season was John Conteh of Kalleone Radio. Mumino Komsie Kamara of Central Parade was crowned player of the season. The award’s night attracted personalities such as the Chairman, National Sports Council, Chief Samuel Sam Sumana and the Western Area Football Association (WAFA), and leading Sports personality, Alhaji Unisa Alim Sesay (Awoko). Mean while, The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) have released the list of Twenty-two players of the Female National football team Sierra Queens. They are expected to participate in the West African Female football competition in Abuja. The squad selection was done in Lunsar after the trials of the thirty nominated players. They were test for physical fitness and skills. The competition will kick off on the Saturday 15th August 2009.
