The coach of Sierra Leone’s National football team, Daniel Koroma has died in Freetown.
He was fifty-nine years old. Mr. Koroma was appointed Head Coach of the Leone Stars, just three months ago to uplift the failing fortunes of the national game internationally. Diamond Toes, as he was popularly known, played for Leone Stars and the Ports Authority Football team, which dominated local Sierra Leonean football in the 1970s.
