Another Minister investigated for alleged corrupt practices. |

The Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Haja Afsatu Kabbah is being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) for allegedly taking bribes and abusing her office.
Sources at the ACC say she was invited on Wednesday, Seventeenth February and taken to the ACC’s headquarters in Freetown. Her passport was reportedly seized and granted bail to two sureties. The detail of her arrest is still unclear. Mrs. Kabbah in her days as Minister of Energy and Power was criticized by the ACC for breaching procurement procedure in awarding a contract to a Nigerian Company.
