Commission to investigate attacks on SLPP in Kono PDF Print E-mail

The Political Parties Registration Commission said it would investigate allegations made by the SLPP against the ruling APC party. The PPRC says it received a letter of complaint from the SLPP about intimidation of its supporters in Kono by peopled the SLPP described as APC thugs. The commission said it would involve all senior police officers in the district to get to the exact cause of the recent spate of political violence in that part of the country. Roland Ade Caesar is the Acting Chairman of PPRC, he called on all political party leaders and supporters to desist from all sorts of political violence and intimidation. He explained what action would be taken against any found wanton at the end of the commission’s investigations on the incident.
