Nigerian Doctors turn Good Samaritan

A sixteen –man medical team from Nigeria, has provided free medical services to over one thousand residents on Bonthe Island. A member of the team Dr. Okon Okon-Omoren said they targeted the island in order to address the health needs of the residents. The Lumley and Dworzack Farm health centers in Freetown were also visited by the team. The team which comprised seven doctors, a pharmacist, a nurse, evangelists and other professionals, came to the country under the auspices of the Nigeria Christian Fellowship and the Africa Vision Track House in Nigeria. They performed scores of surgical operations, especially hernia cases.
