Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) says it has received a good number of Asset Declaration Forms from senior public officials.
In a press statement, the ACC said it had extended the deadline for the submission of Asset Declaration Forms from November 30 to the 30th of January next year. The Commission said it was obligatory for all public personnel to declare their assets, income and liabilities. It said it was encouraging all public officials to submit their forms within the stipulated time.The ACC said declaration of assets was in accordance with the amended Anti Corruption Act of 2008. It said the President, Vice President and some Cabinet Ministers had already declared their assets.
