Leone Stars arrive in Cairo
The national football team, Leone Stars have arrived in Cairo ahead of Sunday’s African Nations Cup qualifier against the Pharaoh’s.

The 25 man squad comprises eighteen players, a small technical team, government and Sierra Leone Football Association representatives.

CTN understands that there is a split in the Leone Stars camp over who should wear the captain’s armband. Gibrilla Woobay was named captain instead of Brima Kargbo (Obreh) who had served as skipper in previous matches.

However, the AC Milan player, Rodney Strasser who hopes to make his Leone Stars debut against the Pharaohs said he was optimistic about Sunday’s match. “Football is not about big names,’ he told CTN. Strasser, 20 said they were going to do their best in the match against the seven times African champions.
